By accessing or using RAGJar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our service. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals and entities.
You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account and use RAGJar. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
RAGJar provides an AI-powered platform for knowledge discovery, enabling users to upload documents, perform AI analysis, conduct smart searches, and derive insights from their data. Our services include secure document storage, advanced AI indexing, instant answer retrieval, and team collaboration features.
You understand and agree that your uploaded documents and the queries you submit will be processed by third-party artificial intelligence models to provide RAGJar's features. While RAGJar strives to work with AI providers who adhere to strict data privacy and security standards, and typically do not use your data for their model training, you should consult our Privacy Policy for details on specific AI sub-processors and their data handling practices.
When you register for a RAGJar account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify RAGJar immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. RAGJar cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
RAGJar uses Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") as our Merchant of Record for all payment processing, including subscriptions and one-time purchases. Paddle handles invoicing, tax collection (e.g., VAT, GST), and refunds. As a Ukrainian sole trader (FOP), RAGJar does not issue invoices or process payments directly. You agree not to request invoices or payments directly from RAGJar.
Subscription plans and pricing details are available on our pricing page. All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your RAGJar account settings or by contacting Paddle directly.
All payments for RAGJar subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Refunds are subject to Paddle’s refund policy, which generally permits refund requests within 14 days of a one-off transaction or subscription renewal, at Paddle’s discretion. RAGJar does not process refunds directly.
To request a refund, you must contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. Refund eligibility depends on factors such as the time of the request and the nature of the transaction. Please review Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms for full details.

You agree to use RAGJar only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the service. You may not:
You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness of all content and documents you upload to RAGJar. RAGJar does not review or endorse user-generated content and is not responsible for any liability arising from such content.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and potentially legal action.
All content, features, and functionality on RAGJar, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and documentation, are the exclusive property of RAGJar or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You retain ownership of any content, data, or documents you upload to RAGJar. By uploading content, you grant RAGJar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the RAGJar service to you.
RAGJar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Upon termination, your right to use RAGJar will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability, shall survive termination. Paddle may also terminate your subscription per their terms. Upon account termination, your data, including uploaded documents, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, typically involving deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements.
RAGJar is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
RAGJar does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time or location; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the service is free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall RAGJar, its owner (Ukrainian sole trader / FOP), affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (iii) any content obtained from the service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
As Paddle handles all payment processing, RAGJar is not responsible for any payment-related issues, disputes, or liabilities arising directly from payment transactions.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RAGJar, its owner (Ukrainian sole trader / FOP), affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ukraine, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
RAGJar reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RAGJar regarding our service. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and RAGJar’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
